Learn Pictorial Design in UW Photography
Balance, harmony, pattern, unity, contrast, proportion, variety and movement in your image, is pictorial design - Norbert Probst is teaching this valuable and often overlooked aspect of underwater photography at special photo/video workshops this Summer.
This August several of today's top underwater professional photographers from Germany and the U.S. will be presenting beginner to advanced imaging workshops, for two weeks, hosted by Manta Ray Bay Resort & Yap Divers in Micronesia.
2018 Learning Focus
Pictorial design, split images, shooting models and modelling, composing THE shot, histograms along with days of editing workshops and training using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop - come learn how industry professionals make their images stand out.
One-on-one Photography Training
Throughout the two-week event, participants can attend classroom style workshops and make appointments for one-on-one training with any of the presenting pro's on anything photo/video related.
Image Contest with $20,000 in prizes!
Wrapping up the two-week workshops is an image contest for DSLR, compact and action cameras, with a video category. The prizes are the same for big and small cameras, last year a liveaboard trip was won with a GoPro.
Drone Flying Workshops
Drone flying workshops and drone photo/videography is part of the event, it truly is an all-cameras photography festival designed to offer something for any level photography.
