OFOS ist ein geschlepptes Foto-/Videosystem, dass Aufschluss über die großflächige Verteilung größerer Tiere am Boden des HAUSGARTEN-Gebietes gibt. Der Vergleich mit Aufnahmen aus den vergangenen zehn Jahren gibt den Wissenschaftlern Auskunft über zeitliche Veränderungen in der Dichte und Zusammensetzung dieses sogenannten Epibenthos.

OFOS is towed photo/video system, which is used to assess large-scale distribution patterns of larger organisms (mega-fauna) on the seabed at HAUSGARTEN. The comparison with images retrieved during the preceding years will allow the scientists to evaluate temporal variations in mega-fauna densities and composition.
